Queens New York- Saturday, August 4th, 2018 under the theme, “Queens is Cool” the spirit of the Caribbean was in full splendor as VP records partner held its first annual Caribbean Community Cultural event.
On the front lawn of Jamaica Performing Arts Center, approximately three hundred folks including kids came out to enjoy the music, food, dance, craft and all that the Caribbean and its culture had to offer. The atmosphere was perfect for the festivities, as patrons from the busy streets of Jamaica stopped by.
Pat Chin, the matriarch of the largest reggae and soca music delivery to the community and the tri-state, along with Cathy Hung, the executive director of the arts center, was hands-on serving food as they celebrate their joint venture.
