The Living Legends Foundation recently celebrated the Heroes of Black Music & Culture. Join us in congratulating Nickie E. Robinson, Founder, GoodGirlPR, our recognized “Hero Behind The Culture.”
Nickie received her B.A. in Economics from New York University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver where her concentration was corporate, securities, and tax law. She worked in the finance industry for four years before embarking on her career in public relations, event planning and promotions. Although she has a financial and legal background, Nickie has always been interested in PR. During her collegiate and law school years, she organized regional events for Universal Records, the Denver Broncos and Nuggets, NY Giants and Kanye West.
Nickie has extensive experience in beauty, wellness, entertainment, event, music, sports, and art publicity as well as small business and corporate branding and crisis management. She has established herself as a business consultant providing advice from the time of the business launch and throughout its life. Nickie has been featured in articles by Inc. Magazine, Forbes, Crain’s New York, Black Enterprise, Ebony Magazine, and Essence Magazine, just to name a few.
Nickie founded The BedStuy Film Festival in 2017 as a showcase for films that feature diverse narratives and perspectives. It will be held on October 25, 2024. The organization not only highlights filmmakers of diverse backgrounds but its mission uplifts new voices and outlooks, with particular emphasis on local creatives representing cultural, gender, race and generational voices. They are accepting submissions
