Beaumont Jefferson
Beaumont is Treasurer of Nassau County where he is responsible for cash management, long term financing and Accounts payable and disbursement of $2.6 billion dollars yearly. Beaumont is also an elected official in the Village of Westbury. As a Village Trustee he works with the Mayor and other Trustees to ensure that the residents of the Village of Westbury obtain the best services for their tax dollars. Beaumont has 25 years of banking experience and is a former Vice President at JP Morgan Chase Bank.
Beaumont believes in building strong communities by looking for ways to improve the community where we live and making a difference where we can. He is a past President of the Sherwood Civic Association of Westbury and the chairman of the Westbury Little League for over 12 years.
In addition, he has partnered with the Community Development Corporation of Long Island (CDC) as an instructor of their Small Business classes for local entrepreneurs and the Westbury School Business Council as a career day organizer and presenter. Beaumont is also very active in the Westbury United Methodist Church where he serves on the Trustee Board and Vice President of the Westbury United Methodist Men.
Beaumont and his wife of 23 years Luisa have a 19-year-old son (Brandon). Beaumont received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from SUNY Old Westbury, Studied Certified Financial planning at New York University and has a Certification in Project Management.
