State Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman will host her annual Community Day and Back-to-School Giveaway this Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Queens, New York.
The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at P.S. 38Q, 135-21 241 Street. Families can enjoy a bouncy house, live music and other family-friendly entertainment, along with a back-to-school giveaway aimed at helping local students get ready for the new school year.
The Community Day and Back-to-School Giveaway is supported by a roster of local elected officials and community partners, including Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, State Senator Leroy Comrie, Assemblymembers Clyde Vanel and Khaleel Anderson, Councilmember & Deputy Speaker Nantasha Williams, and Councilmember Selvena Brooks-Powers.
