Barrington White

Barrington White is a Queen’s native, an entrepreneur and specialist in appearance enhancement who has spent over 25 years in the hair care industry. Coming from a family who was strong in the hair industry, Barrington developed a love for hair care and the industry at a very young age and real quickly, he went from being just a Barber to becoming the owner of three successful salons and a Night Club and Lounge in Long Island.  With his magnetic personality, he took his career in a different direction to being an on set groomer for various music videos & movie shoots.

Some of his career highlights are as follows: participation in over seven published copies of NY Hair & Style Magazines (1998-2008)

Cut hair for three album covers and worked on several video shoots for male grooming which included: Yankee B, Jimmy Cozier, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy and Jadakiss

He provided male grooming and make-up on the set of the movie, “Proud”.  Worked with the following actors on set: Ossie Davis, Stephen Rea, Rashad Haughton, Verne Bagneris, Reggie Austin, Aidan Quinn, Eric la Ray and Albert Jones as well as  providing daily and weekly grooming for celebrities, Shabba Ranks, Darius Rucker, Shaggy, Wyclef Jean, Akron, Jimmy Cozier and Tu Pac Shakur

Barrington is skilled in all Short haircuts and styles, Razor Lines & designs, Color and Dye and Blow Outs for men, women, and children as well as Male Makeup and Continuity on the movie set. Over the years Barrington has developed an impressive employment history:
