Darren A. Wallace is the President and CEO of Vanguard Technical Solutions, LLC, based in Elmont, Long Island. His expertise in technology grew out of his formal education at the New York Institute of Technology, followed by his exposure working for a few of the elite Technology Consulting companies around the country. Now with 30 years of solid technology and business experience, Darren has returned to the community in which he grew up, to offer his expertise and experience in small business development.
The extensive, but focused insight Darren has gained working for companies such as Viacom Inc. and Merrill Lynch Inc., has given him the ability to immediately identify the needs of start-ups, small, mid-sized or large business models after a short but thorough evaluation.
So, Darren, has himself become a tech entrepreneur, holding the hands of business owners as they travel the complicated and treacherous path of becoming tech-savvy in a fast-growing “technology world.” Every business owner in this new world of tech must deal with multiple challenges throughout their business life, but finding that right tech doctor is maybe the biggest challenge. As proof of his commitment to assist and develop the technology assets of small businesses, Darren serves as the Chair of Technology for, The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce (LIAACC), The Merchants Association of Rosedale, Laurelton and Springfield Gardens, (MARLS) and The BOOM Network, (BOOM). In 2017 he received the Business Person of the Year Award from the Nassau Council Chamber of Commerce.
