Launches creative apparel collection pays homage to music directors of the 2000s and empowerment to fellow creatives that work behind the scenes
AdWeek announced that Maya Table, Director and Content Strategist, Sam Frank Productions, has been named to the AdWeek’s 2021 “Creative 100,” an annual designation that recognizes the top creatives across critically acclaimed Hollywood hits to scrappy passion projects that take on a life of their own, 2021’s roster of directors on Adweek’s Creative 100 encapsulates today’s vast range of inclusive, innovative storytelling. Maya is among this year’s top 100 directors alongside executives from SpringHill Company, Nextflix, and Xbox.

An incredibly skilled producer, content creator, and director, Maya is the Director & Founder of her production company, Sam Frank Productions, named after her grandfather. Her directing credits include producing music videos for Janelle Monae, Usher, Adidas, Travis Scott, Summer Walker, and the Migos. In addition, directing credits include commercials and digital content for Google, SELF magazine, Lululemon, Make-A-Wish, and Head & Shoulders.

Maya’s commitment to making space for other creatives continues with the launch of her t-shirt collection. She acknowledges that this has been a challenging year for many freelancers and wants to encourage others to continue sharing stories that create change.
In her latest project, Maya serves as the Showrunner – Director for PBS’s weekly host-driven series, Say It Loud. The show focuses on relatable experiences of modern Black American life, from media and public affairs to growing up black, and the history behind cultural tropes. In addition, the show joins in on trending topics and adds depth, context, and analysis to the conversation. The upcoming season is scheduled to debut this June.
