Born and raised in NYC, Kevin, at twelve started to learn the first steps in the business that would see him continue his father’s legacy on to new heights. From booking his first gig at 16, to becoming an international DJ; Kevin has earned his spot as featured DJ at prime venues and top events throughout NYC and beyond. Naturally, radio came next, with 93.5FM calling and his own show “Friday Night Madness.”
Crowned “DJ of the Year” at the 2014 Young Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards, Kevin has gone on to be nominated for “Reggae DJ of the Year” by Global Spin Awards in 2017. His awards are not the only prestigious accolades he has. Kevin received a proclamation from Senator Kevin Parker and former Brooklyn Borough President now NYC Mayor Eric Adams; certificates of recognition from Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and Congresswoman Yvette Clarke; a citation from former Councilmember Jumaane Williams for work as a DJ and was awarded Culture Ambassador status of New York for the summer of 2018.
During the pandemic he started his own virtual show “THE KEVIN CROWN MORNING SHOW”, which gained a worldwide following and earned him the title of “Twitch Streamer of the Year” in 2021.
In addition to DJing, Kevin is a fitness enthusiast, boasting a 4th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and his eclectic personal style means that the Kevin Crown Brand has so much to offer.
His annual birthday party “INSIDIOUS” is the most sought-after ticket in NYC. In 2022 he packed out the Amazura Concert Hall with 2,500 people in attendance, which is groundbreaking.
