LOCnificent Fest 7.0, the ultimate celebration of locs, natural hair, and Black cultural excellence, returns for its 7th annual edition on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Atolye Venue & Bar, 236B 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY.
The weekend kicked off with “Setting the Standard,” an exclusive panel and mixer held on Thursday, October 2 at BKLYN Commons, offering attendees a preview of what’s to come.
Founded in 2018 by Lovaeta K. Amoako, LOCnificent Fest has grown from a grassroots gathering into a dynamic cultural event that bridges hair, identity, and innovation. Each year, the festival brings together creatives, stylists, entrepreneurs, and cultural influencers for a vibrant celebration rooted in authenticity and empowerment.
This Year’s Theme is “WE ARE THE BLUEPRINT.” The 2025 theme boldly reaffirms the festival’s mission: to remind the world that Black beauty, innovation, and legacy are not borrowed—they are the origin stories.
The Upcoming Festival Highlights are as follows:
